Why do I do this to myself...

Hey there peeps :)


2011 is drawing to a nasty close, and by nasty I mean holy shit where did the year go and what do I have to show for it?


You think every day o.m.g so much has happened to me this year, some good and probably alot bad. Then you reflect and realise that not that much has happened, where did all the months go? Where did the last year of my life go? OMFG @#%$@#$+^ WHAT NOW?!?


Well... fix it. Right?


Do everything you set out to do this year... and perhaps even accomplish a little more? Why not, we have already failed... let's rise like the phoenix and UNITE!!!! Sorry i've been watching alot of myths and legends movies lately, the kinship/brothers in arms crap really gets you. You know?


Lilypad and I decided that we would each create a bucket list... or a combined bucket list? I'll check that later :/ not of things to do before we die, just things to do before we waste another year.


Some of these might not necessarily be 'life changing' items.. it will however achieve some accomplishment within ourselves... keep the perk up :)


So...


#1 - Update my bedroom furniture
Most of the furniture I have had in my room probably since I was about fifteen and now that i'm studying and collecting so many glory box items (another post on that later) it only makes sense (to me and no one else) that I would update my room with a stack of new furniture. Custom made by Ikea. Custom built by my boyfriend pete :)


I've definately got the new desk, and a new bookshelf. All thats left is to continue matching up my furniture them of white (serenity) with a new, and much smaller chest of drawers. The only problem is not only am I so desperate to keep all the furniture tying in colour and theme, I really really want a dressing table. A french one to be precise... not cheap and not always easy to find...

#2 Get a tattoo

I seriously need to stop saying i'm getting a tattoo and actually go out and get one. Its not that i'm even scared about doing it, the pain doesn't bother me... it's the fact that I want so damn many and can't decide where and want i'm going to cover yes cover my body with. 

That and they don't come cheap either $$$

Yeah probably not as extreme as this though...

#3 FESTIVAL SEASON IS COMING

I seriously probably had the worst previous festival experiences e.g Good Vibes = Mud Vibes... they are always pissing down rain, god smiting all the little dancers getting their rave on drunk and throwing up all over the portable toilets. Gross, and probably dangerous but if your drunk and raving probably totally worth it.

Must go to either Parklife, Stereosonic or Shorething... all have sick lineups.

I'm tired and sick today so excuse me if my awesome thoughts are waning :( all I can concentrate on now is what's for lunch and how i'm going to get to the kitchen!
